Bike Fanatics Keila CX

1. INTRODUCTION

Bike Fanatics Keila CX (UCI C2) is open for the following categories:

- UCI Elite Men

- UCI Elite Women.

- UCI Junior Men

The competition takes place on 08. and 09. October 2022.

It is an individual (solo) competition.

The competition is held at Keila health trails.

The competition’s Race Centre is on address Ehitajate tee 13 Keila, Harjumaa Estonia

The competition follows the UCI (International Cycling Union) CX rules and regulations, and the specific regulations mentioned in this guide.

The race will have commentated live TV broadcast, accessible on Facebook and/or Youtube for free.

 

2. REGISTRATION

Registration must be made by at https://reg.cxestonia.eu/en or e-mail info@cxestonia.ee.

Registration is open from 1st of March 2022, final confirmation until 7th of October 2022.

The registration fee is 25€ for Men Junior and Women races and 30 for Men U23 and Elite race. Registration fee can be paid by an invoice or with credit card on the registration website, also at license check in cash.

To register the rider must hold a valid competition cycling license issued by the national federation

approved by the UCI.

License check, race number and timekeeping chip distribution takes place at Race Office

7 October 2022 from 17.00 – 20.00

8 October 2022 from 09.00 – 15.00

9 October 2022 from 09.00 – 12.00

 

3. RACE OFFICE

Race Office includes Anti-doping control office, Team managers meeting place and Press conference

room. The Race Office is located at Keila health trails, address Ehitajate Street 13, Keila town, Harju county, Estonia.

4. CATEGORIES

The race is open for the following categories:

UCI Elite men – male riders 19 or older and hold a valid UCI Elite license;

UCI Elite women – female riders 19 or older and hold a valid UCI Elite, U23 or Junior license;

UCI Men Junior – riders 17 or 18 years old and hold a valid UCI Men Junior license.

 

During the Bike Fanatics Keila CX, there will be races also for children, MW10/12/14/16; Junior women/men; Open&Master women/men. Information can be found at https://cxestonia.eu.

 

5. TIMEKEEPING

Timekeeping is done by timing chips. Every rider is responsible for the timing chip to be properly

attached to the rider and return it to the organizer at the end of the event.

7. PRIZE MONEY AND POINTS SCALE

Prize money (EUR) is awarded to categories UCI Elite men/women and men junior according to UCI CX C2 (Group 2):


 A grand total of 2706 EUR will be the prize money at the event.

There is an award ceremony, where every category top six (6) must attend the award ceremony.

Prize money will be paid 15 min. after the award ceremony in the Race Office.

8. PARKING

Parking for teams, riders and the public is located near the race office, the parking area is clearly marked.

 

9. BIKE WASH

Bike wash is available near the Race center and at the technical area.

 

 

10. HOSPITAL

The nearest hospital is North Estonia Medical Centre J. Sütiste tee 19, 13419 Tallinn. Emergency contact number +372 617 1369.

11. OFFICIAL ACCOMMODATIONS

It is possible to stay near-by the Race center with camping cars or motorhomes, cold water and electricity will be provided. The shower, sauna and pool are accessible 800 m from the Race center, open Mon-Sun 9.00-21.00.

12. LOCATION

Keila is located 31 km from Tallinn Airport (TLL) and 303 km from Riga Airport (RIX).

Transportation is not provided by Organizer.

 

13. COURSE AND EVENT CENTRE MAP

The course is designed on the existing health trails and grass-covered areas with a predominantly strong subsoil. The course length is 2,5 km and it includes one sandpit, short running stairs and 2 obstacles. Start and finish straight is on a tarmac road. The elevation gain is app. 21 meters per lap. The course has one technical area, accessible two times during a lap.

The course is in a closed area and secured to its full length.
